Can't pass value to control. Blue data input port greyed out (HOW-TO RESOLVE)
For example, this is commonly seen when using the forLoop component.

This can happen to any control with data inputs. The blue data input port will become greyed out when a value has been manually set.
RESOLUTION:
You can regain the ability to pass data into the control by right-clicking the manually set value and selecting "reset changes".
