Chordiant Upgrade

Hi Team,


In our client environment, we have  Chordiant CDM build version as: CDM Proprietary information hidden8 (Nestorix, rev: 32115) and it is running with Oracle 10g.

Could you please clarify the following:

  1. 1) If Oracle 10g is out of product support, what other or higher version of Oracle is compatible with CDM 6.2.1?
  1. 2) Do we need to upgrade Chordiant to avail the product-supported Oracle version?
  1. 3) What is the upgrade path from CDM 6.2.1 to higher CDM version, so that both CDM & Oracle will be covered under the product support license to mitigate the business risk.


Please let me know your answers.

Latest CDM version CDM6.9 certified on Oracle 12c Enterprise Edition Proprietary information hidden.0. CDM6.5 to CDM6.8 certified on Oracle 11gR2. We won’t anticipate  any problems with these two version  with CDM 6.2.1. If you are planning to upgrade  CDM 6.2.1 to higher CDM version contact  Support  at https://collaborate.pega.com/question/how-raise-sr-my-support-portal-how-question

Actually, since not asking specifically for software, I think these questions can be answered in this community. As I mentioned in last week’s update (End of Week Update (9/18)), one of the purposes of this community is to drive down the number of SRs being raised. As this participant appears to just be researching at this point, I don’t see a need to raise an SR to answer these questions. If I’m missing something though, please contact me outside of this post to discuss further.
