As part of ongoing improvements to 1:1 Operations Manager, Pega is deprecating the menu to Change Request directly from the "Create" menu on the main navigation bar.
This menu option, originally introduced in version 8.4, has been replaced with a more flexible menu option. If your implementation of 1:1 Operations Manager occurred in version 8.4 through ’23 then you might see Create, Change Request menu option.
What’s Changing?

These options offer a more consistent and scalable experience across the platform.
Why This Change?
The new "Action" and "Action Update" options:
- Provide a more intuitive workflow for creating or updating Actions
- Support upcoming enhancements such as Customer Journeys

What You Need to Do
If you are still using the old "Create → Change Request" path:
- Please transition to using "Create → Action" or "Create → Action Update" as soon as possible.
- The deprecated option will be removed in Customer Decision Hub 26.
- Continuing to use the old method after version 26 will result in errors with creating change requests after the upgrade.
