Issue

Push messages are sent to Messaging Service with unique environment Id for each respective Pega pod/node.

Symptoms and Impact

Messages published to the Constellation Messaging Service via pxC11NPublishMessage only reach browsers whose session is on the same web pod as the node that executed the publish. If the publishing node and the user's node differ, the message is silently dropped.

Steps to reproduce

Provision the Infinity with system name set to Pega as default.

Root Cause

Since the system name is Pega, each node is assigned it’s node Id as the environment Id.

The Constellation Messaging Service derives environment_id from the nodes/pods environment Id which pushed the message.  

Solution

Uniquely identify your server environment Id by yourself and set it to be the system name.
