Wrong MIME type for xls file

Hi everyone,

I am trying to get the mime for xls file using pega ootb function but its returning the wrong value.

@Default.pxGetMimetypeFromFileName("Test.xls") output for function is application/vndms-excel but it should return application/vnd.ms-excel.

Tried the same code in 7.4 and 8.2.

Please advise on this.

Hello Lalit,

I find this behavior is fixed in Pega 8.4. Refer the Resolves issues for Pega 8.4(https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/products/platform/resolved-issues?q=MIME&f%5B0%5D=version%3A31006) . It mentions the issue as below:

Decision Table support added to customize MIME types
