The Pega platform guardrails do not encourage the usage of custom SQL in their rules. Please use report definitions or Obj-* methods in activities to perform SQL operations.

If you do have a scenario which is not feasible through the available options, please let us know. We can take a look and suggest a work around / add it as an enhancement for a future release. Please work with your account executive in such cases.

I am aware of that.  But the capability still exists, and for some customers it is the only immediate solution for complex queries. 

Does this mean that no new documentation exists?
