Work Object/ Cases vs attachment in Pega 7
Hi All,
I am uploading and download of the documents, using pyCaseAttachments section to the Work Object/ Cases.
Could you please provide the supporting details for the below queries:
1. What types of files could be attached to the Work Object/Case? Are there any restrictions?
2. What is the maximum size that could added to Work object/Cases and specifically with respect to the Attachment Type?
3. What are the limitation in mobile while using this options (with respect to mobile type/version and attcahment types?
4. Could i be able to open/view.download all types of attachments from the mobile?
Any suggestion please?

Hello,
following standard attachment types are supported: File, Note, Screenshot, Scanned document, URL, and Content.
also to download multiple file attached you can refer the below url:
regarding the size of the attachment, we can increase the size by some dss setting or configure it in prconfig.

for mobile devices,By default, the maximum size of a file that can be attached in an application while working in offline mode is 3 MB. check the below help article for this:

this is regarding the maximum number of attachments we can attach, please check that:
You cannot attach a file larger than 1 gigabyte to a work item. Similarly, this limit applies when using the Upload button on Rule-File-Text, Rule-File-Binary, and Rule-File-eForm rule forms, and with the Upload button on the Import landing page tab. You can enforce a higher or lower limit on your system by changing the value for the parameter in the prconfig.xml file or Dynamic System Setting.
