Will there be any data transfer happen to external PEGA server if we enable RPA services in custom built PEGA environment ?
We are running process automation in our custom built PEGA robotics platform. We are not using robotic manager setup. Is it possible to use RPA services in our platform to schedule an automation process ? I read some articles to enable RPA services in windows server, it says we need to do some registry changes and config enablement. Is it safe to do that settings in our organisation server ? Will there be any data transfer to external PEGA server happen if we enable such setting ? Please advise

@PrashantK1369 You cannot use the RPA service without Robot Manager. If you have unattended bots that you are starting and stopping on your own, they won't transfer any data to any Pega Platform application unless you explicitly do so within your automations. I am not sure what articles you are referring to. Please post them and your specific questions and I may be able to speak to those.

In addition to the Thomas's reply, if you already have Pega Platform installed internally, then it would be optimal and recommended to install Robot Manager application there. This way you get completely controlled fully internal setup, can enable RPA Service with scheduling and unless you explicitly enable WFI tracking, no data is send externally.
