Will Poperty Optimization Cause Declare Expression to execute.
Hi,
We are facing an issue with one of the database column in the table which has a declare expression on it. Below is the scenario
I have a property 'P1' which has a declare expression on it and I want to expose a property 'Q1' using property optimization wizard and property Q1 is not an input parameter for 'P1' declare expression. Will the declare expression on P1 be triggered automatically?
Can anyone please let us know if we need to make any specific configuration to make sure declarative rules are not executed while executing the property optimization wizard.

Hello,
Declare Expression is computed automatically each time any of the other input values in the expression change, or when a value for this property is accessed, changed, or using other criteria.
I tried the same scenario at my end and do not see the declare expression executed. Under Change Tracking tab in the declare expression rule, I chose calculate value as " Whenever inputs change".
Could you let us know what have you set under the Change Tracking tab?

The change tracking which we are using on declare expression property is "When used, if no value present".
Checked for the new work cases today while using the optimization wizard to expose a property which is not a part of the declare expression is causing the expression to trigger and updating the value in the database column of the P1 property.
Is there any fix for this?
