Why not Recommend activity for data propergation

Hi team,

can anyone explain this? 

my question is when we propagate data from child to parent we can follow the tree method?

  1. Use DataTransform
  2. call the activity and save the parent page ( activity are not recommended by Pega)
  3. Use the " Update Case" shape (With ID)

Question -->> Why is the  Activity not recommended by PEGA?

@Eranda10274  For all DB operation we can use Activity other than DB we can use other.so in your case it no DB operation not involved,pega always recomend not use activitys when other rules are availale.
