why namespace binding defined at cluster level for split schema architecture
Our application is running in split schema architecture, ie rules and data schema. In Websphere admin console, we defined the attached namespace binding at cluster level, wanted to know what is the significance of defining the name space binding at cluster level? can we even define at cell level?
When we tried at cell level, we are unable to bring up the app. Please advise.

The spilt schema namespace bindings are looked up from PRPC engine code using a local java JNDI context (Server roots partition) and exisiting lookup code does not handle lookup of namespace bindings bound to Node persistent or Cell persistent JNDI partitions.
