while creating custom cipher for pega 7.4 getting Error: Could not find or load main class com.pega.pegarules.pub.PegaRULES
Hi Team,
i am having an issue while creating a custom cipher for pega 7.4
./runPega.sh
--driver<path to the database driver file>
--prweb<path to the archives/prweb folder>
--propfile<path to the bootstrap properties file>
com.pega.pegarules.exec.internal.util.crypto.JCECapabilities
while running above code i am getting error
Error:Could not find or load main class com.pega.pegarules.pub.PegaRULES
anyone please respond.

Could you please provide the complete stack trace that you can see in the logs and also the script that you have used (you can mask the path and other data if you want).
Where exactly you are running the script? You need to be in the scripts directory of Pega distribution image.

C:\install\PegaPlatform\scripts>runPega.sh --driver C:\TestRunPega\PegaPlatform\scripts\OJDBC\ojdbc7.jar --prweb C:\TestRunPega\scripts\Additional_Products\BIX\lib --propfile C:\TestRunPega\scripts\Additional_Products\BIX\config\prbootstrap.properties com.pega.pegarules.exec.internal.util.crypto.JCECapabilities

You need to append the path after the attribute of the command.
For example:
runPega.sh --driver C:/testfolder1/testfolder2 ----- [This will be having the path of the driver jar file]
runPega.sh --prweb C:/testfolder1/testfolder3 ----- [This will be having path of the prweb file]
.... and so on Also the path from were you are running the runPega.sh script (in you case it is C:\install\PegaPlatform\scripts), do you see this script file in this folder ?

yes i appended path after the attribute and i have the script file in that folder
