where can i find the pega sizing documentation? I'd like to complete the form and submit for Pega to so the sizing exercise for us.
I would like to have Pega do a sizing estimate for us, but I cannot find the documentation anywhere. Where is it located or where I can I get the latest copy?

Are you referring to DesignerStudio > Application > Tools > Sizing?
Once you launch it, there is a 'Help' button on top right corner. By clicking on it, you will get the online help document.

The following is the process to engage the PRPCSizing team for their services –
"Request the PRPC Hardware Resource Sizing Estimate Service from your Pegasystems representative: Account Executive, Sales Consultant, Practice Leader, Engagement Leader, or Lead System Architect. You can also send a request to [email protected] for the current PRPC Hardware Resource Sizing Estimate Questionnaire."

Pega offers a basic rough-cut sizing service for prospective, new and existing customers in need of an estimate for what kind of load a prospective PRPC application will place on a given hardware infrastructure. This is geared for sizing a target production environment only. This service is intended to provide a rough estimate early in the project life cycle. This service is not appropriate for an application that is in production or is in load test. A separate service (Performance Health Check) should be explored for needs in tuning and capacity planning of an application that is nearing or already in production.
At this time, there is no charge for this service. This assumes that only 1 sizing is done per application. Optionally, we can also size a development environment if requested.
We do not make specific recommendations on hardware models, hardware strategy or configuration alternatives with this service.
What you can expect in the recommendation document are the following metrics:
Application Server Tier
CPU capacity in total
JVM count
Total memory required to support the JVMs
Local disk space for application server
Database Server Tier
CPU capacity
Database storage
Maximum connection pool size

The sizing service is initiated by having a Pega representative (Account Exec, Sales Consultant, Practice Leader, Engagement Leader or Lead System Architect) submit an request to [email protected]. A questionnaire will be provided that will need to be filled out with the assistance of the Pega representative. When completed, this completed questionnaire will be submitted via email to the Pega sizing team at [email protected]. Once received, someone in the PRPCSizing team will then review the answers and produce a customized model for this request. This usually takes 2 – 3 business days to produce a draft of this recommendation.
There may be a number of items that may require clarification. As a result it is expected that it may take a few extra days to come to a final draft of the report. If there is a specific urgency for this estimate, please indicate when this must be done by when submitting the completed questionnaire.
Once the estimate document is ready, it will be published for internal review and then forwarded to the client. If necessary, a 30 minute conference call with the client can be arranged to go over the recommendation and answer any questions.
