What is the latest release of Marketing Director and what is its Oracle compatibility
Hi,
can you please tell me what the the latest release of Marketing Director is.
We received an "Marketing Director Proprietary information hidden / Oracle 12c" Version.
Is this Version of MD compatible to Oracle 11g too ?
We want to upgrade MD first to the latest MD version on our existing Oracle 11g database
and later on migrate the database to Oracle 12c. Is that possible with that Version ?

Hi Ulrich,
The latest version of CMD is v6701 which is compatible with Oracle 12c. CMD v67 is compatible with Oracle 11g. Both versions are same with respective to functionality and only difference is stack compatibility.
The version S/W which you have received is not compatible with Oracle 11g. If you would like to upgrade MD first and Oracle database later, install Oracle 12C client on the new MD server (which is having CMD v6701 binaries) for connecting Oracle 11g database schema.
Else you need to request for CMD v67 binaries which are compatible with Oracle 11g.
