What is the function:"pega.desktop.activateDocument"

On Pega 7 logo, there is "pega.desktop.activateDocument" on click action. Would someone help me understand it?

For every tab opened on workspace, an index is assigned to it starting from 0. So, Initially when the user logs in, the "Home" tab on dashboard is assigned the value of '0'. On click of Pega logo, the activateDocument function is called which will check for the tab with index '0' and it will navigate to that particular tab with dashboard which is the "Home" tab in general.

So basically activateDocument on pega logo will navigate to Home tab on the dashboard.
