What is diffrent ProspectTemplate and ProspectList
I'm on implementation of Pega Marketing following the instructions in the "Pega Marketing Implementation Guide 8.2".
Now,I have a question about prospect in pega marketing.
I think I can import data of prospect class by using two ways.
1)In Dev studio,I can use prospect template to import data for prospect class on Excel. It's is binary file.
2)In App studio, I can use Prospect List to import data for prospect class on maybe Excel.
Configure>Segment>ProspectList.
What is diffrent between two ways to import data for prospect class??

Prospect Template is used to define the columns that we are going to upload through ProspectList while importing the prospect.
You can modify the OOTB prospect template and add the new columns. In the following example I have added CustomerID column which is not present in OOTB prospect template.
Now you can add values to the defined(Prospect template) columns and save to create a ProspectList.
Use this file while importing prospectlist in Marketing portal.Go to Configure->Segment->ProspectLists and click on new then upload this file. The records which are present in prospect file will be added as prospects. Following is the example of ProspectList.

To import prospect list use Configure->Segment->ProspectList.
If you want to modify ProspectTemplate (to add/remove more columns) download the Prospect Template and modify the excel and then upload file.
Use this template while uploading Prospect List.

I want to adding questons.
In other words, It's same result to upload excel file by clicking bottun for upload in prospecttemplate and prospectList??If I want to upload customer data for prospect without template,I select ProspectList?? It's correct??
Then,Before I modify ProspectTemplate (to add/remove more columns),I have to create property??
Finally if possible,I want to get specific example of prospect template and prospectlist!!
