What is the difference between Pega Web Mashup Code VS IFRAME
Problem Statement:
I am currently doing a POC to render PEGA UI in a different web-application (which might be later on exposed over internet). I can see there are 2 options to implement it :
- Using IFRAME
- Using PEGA Web Mashup
IFRAME has some security vulnerabilities and is often not a preferred option. So, I am looking to use Pega Web Mashup.
Queries:
- Is Pega Web Mashup similar to IFRAME?
- Does Pega CSS style guide conflicts with Parent web-application style guide and vice versa?
- Please advise if there is any other option available to implement this use case?

Pega mashup provides options to pass values from non pega app to pega app using Javascript API.
if you debug the mashup code, Pega Mashup script finally places the app in IFRAME.
Mashup is the best option to integrate with non pega app.
We were intergrated with Angular app, I don't see any CSS conflict.
