Pega Cloud best practices to run Agents is based on the two new features that have been introduced in 7.3.1 - Node Classification and Node Types.

Pega Cloud by default provisions the nodes classification and node types, that is optimized and good practices to run your agents. The node classification and node types can not be changed by Customer/user of the application, they will need to reach out to Pega Cloud for next steps.

Following are few key call outs that one needs to be informed on Agents -

  • How to develop rules for an application
  • Pega Platform 7.2 Agent concepts, terms, and related topics
  • What agents are available in Pega 7.2.2 and how to upgrade to Pega 7.3
  • How to create and schedule Agents in Pega 7.2.2 on multiple nodes of a cluster (two or more Web Application Servers)
  • How to create, modify, and schedule Pega 7 Agent Queues
