Pega Robotics allows you to interrogate and automate a web (Internet Explorer) based application. For RPA, your "bot" (i.e. the machine that is running your RPA) will need credentials for any applications it is using. Think of the "bot" like any other employee you would hire to perform the same task(s); except for the fact that this employee won't need any breaks, lunches, days off, or benefits. Practically speaking though, it will need the same "things" as any other employee performing the same work.
