Wanted to know which is best performance wise for looping?
Hi All,
I have a Node level D page with 500 results. In one of the activity based on one of the param i want to set some properties from the D page to my step page.
Which one is preferable i.e.; performance wise
Thanks in Advance.
1. Loop through the results with precondition and set it to step page.
2. Use IndexinPagelist function get the index and set the values.
I want to know how can i check performance here.

Hi Arunal,
I think the best way is to use Performance Analyzer tool to check which one is taking less time.
You can create two different activities and then run them one by one and then check in the tool, you will get an idea performance wise which one is better.

Hi,
Function using is better for performance. You can see the time taking for function execution step and looping step in tracer. We are mostly using function and we are avoiding looping.

Tried the function and looping with test activity. Able to know the performance impact of looping and usage of function.
