Viewing Application Logs

What are the different options for viewing application log files for Pega Logs? What are some of the approaches that others take to make the text file more user friendly and easier to work with? I don't find the importing of the text file to excel with a * delimiter easy to work with.

Hi,

Adding to above comment, opening Alert logs in Excel with * delimiter helps in sorting and filtering Alerts rather than working in text files.

Also you can make use of PLA for viewing logs.

PDC/AES helps in generating reports, graphs, performance monitoring, viewing alerts, exceptions end node level statistics.
