Validate the multiselect control on custom filter section on report browser
Hi ,
I need to show the validation on the required field (Multislect control) which is on report browser.
pega OOTB will not trigger any validation when we click on apply filters button untill the user clicks on that field.
I want to trigger the validation when the user directly click on apply filter without entering the mandatory fields.
So please suggest me an approach to validate a required fields on report browser which are custom filters .
until user clicks on required filed the pega is not showing the required validations.

pyDefaultCustomFilterApplyCancel in the action set of the button

pyDefaultCustomFilterApplyCancel in the action set of the button
- Add a run script action
- Call doFormSubmit
- Pass the below parameters
- The value to be passed to the first is pyActivity=pzValidateCustomFilterSection&pzPrimaryPageName=pyReportContentPage
- Save the changes and click on apply filters icon without clicking on the field.

Hi Nandha,
It is working fine but when i give that field and click on apply filters by report data is not displaying .
the report section is refreshing and not able to see the data
