Using Unversioned Proposition Instances

Dear Team,

What are the benefits of using versioned proposition instances over unversioned ones? Also, is there any known issues if the versioned proposition instances are used?

Hi Aishik,

Unversioned propositions are legacy, whilst they are still supported at the moment at some point they will be phased out.  We recommend all new users use versioned propositions.   Versioned propositions are fully supported in Revision Management whereas unversioned are not and will prevent you from using this capability.

Dear Alex,

Thanks for your response. Is there a way, versioned proposition instances can be converted to unversioned ones? Does Pega provide any OOTB wizard?

No we do not support or provide any mechanism to convert versioned to unversioned propositions.  We do not recommend attempting to do this either.
