Monitoring NBA's - Proposition Alert
Hi,
I have a question in regard to monitoring Next-Best-Actions and receiving alerts in case propositions are not outputed.
Is there Pega OOB functionalities for providing alerts in case NBA-propositions are not outputed on from one day to the other? Or if the NBA-distribution change radically over time if no changes are made to the decision strategy.
If no OOB functionalities are available for this, what is best practise to implement these alerts? Build in VBD and/or directly on the Interaction History?

There are no OOB alerts specifically for this. The only VBD specific alerts I know of were introduced in 7.2.2 (PEGA0071 and PEGA0081). Typically, all Pega Alerts are performance related.
What it sounds like you require is more SLA related. Also, aren't Predictors applicable here?
As an aside, there is a data tracking alert scheduled for Pega 8.1 - "PEGA0105 DSM ADM History Predictors - The number of interaction history summary predictors used by the adaptive model over threshold"

thanks for your reply. Good to hear that there are some data tracking alerts coming up. In what way do you mean that Predictors can be applicable here? (what kind of predictors?)
I address this alert as desired OOB functionality since I feel it would be relevant for every Pega client (not only my current one) to get automated alerts in case the live environments shows sudden changes/drops in NBA's. Right now you could say that you can monitor via VBD, but that would imply logging in on a daily basis and checking it. Ideally, an email alert would be great in case there's a big issue with NBA-output. Maybe it can be taken up as an enhancement request.
