Use of driver that supports AlwaysOn with SQL Server

The default driver listed for use with SQL Server doesn't support the AlwaysOn feature of SQL Server. Is there an official statement on the support of the driver that does support this feature with PRPC? This comes in version 6 of the MS SQL JDBC Driver. We are using PRPC 8.1 and SQL Server 2012.

If you do not see anything in the platform guide, that normally means no official statement on this as most likely Pega has not tested the configuration. Reach out the accout manager/product owners for the data engine area if there is any business requirement from client side.
