Does pega major version upgrades requires the clients to be mandatory on the previous Major ? or we can jump versions?

That means if we are on 23.1, is it mandatory to upgrade to 24.x and then to 25? or each major version is tested to be able to upgrade from any previous major version?

Is there a compatibility table that we can check somewhere?
