Upgrade old Menus
With 8.4, the HTML5 readiness page has been removed from the product as most of the applications are HTML5 ready by now. For some applications which are still using the old Menu, in the 8.3 and earlier releases was to upgrade to new Menus from the HTML5 readiness page.
Since this page is not available from 8.4 onwards, the users can run the pzSetMenuFlag once for their application and save the application rule form. This would upgrade application to use new Menus.
Note:
Upgrade ‘Show Menu’ from the landing page should not cause any side effect in any version of PRPC.
Behaviour of Upgrade ‘Show Menu’ has always been same i.e., calling pzSetMenuFlag activity. Running this activity multiple times will not cause any issues and will not impact anything after the first run.

I see the activity pzSetMenuFlag only in prod. its not there in any of our lower regions. Strange.
Embed-HTML5ApplicationReadiness class has lot of rules in prod but very less in lower region.
IS this expected? We have to run this directly in prod?

@Arvind Not sure why this is not available in lower versions but this should be available. And i wouldn't recommend running this in prod directly even though there won't be any regressions or issues with this.

Did you check Operator --> preferences --> Enable diagnostic features is checked, Pega hides the troubleshooting rules by default.

@NAQUS post-upgrade from 7.x to 8.x we had an issue with a few menu controls. For instance, clicking the Operator profile link (OOTB operator menu) from Dev Studio ran successfully but did not return any content. This did the trick! It would have been nice to have pySetMenuFlag to update the flag for all applications!
