Upgrade Pega Runtime

Hi All, we are planning to upgrade Pega runtime from 8.0.1030.0 to 8.0.2025.

In the installation doc "Pega Robotic Automation Runtime 8.0 SP1 Installation Instructions_2.pdf", it seems that we have to uninstall the existing runtime 8.0.1030.0 and install version 8.0.2025. Is this the approprach to do the upgrade? Can we just install 8.0.2025 on top of version 8.0.1030.0 without uninstalling?

Yes, the installer will detect existing versions on the system and will uninstall it first before replacing it with the version you are trying to install.
