Updating DSS values after the environment is cloned from production

We copy over the database from production to the Development environment every month. Is there any way to automate the process of updating the DSS values in these cases?

You could look into setting these DSS via the prconfig.xml which would be different then for both environments. Or you could create an agent which runs on Dev environment once a month and alters these DSS automatically.
