Update HCIF 7.12 to HCIF 7.22, can it be done?

Hi Team,

 

  I am updating our HCIF 7.12 to 7.22, but on the document it says to run the script if I am updating from 7.14.  Does this mean that I have to update 7.12 to 7.14 first and then to 7.22?  Or can I just run those and upgrade it to 7.22 directly.

HI, 

In HCIF 7.22 upgrade guide (see attached), it only mentions 3 upgrading cases:

- Upgrading from a HCIF version based on PRPC 6.x system
- Upgrading from HCIF version 7.14 to 7.22
- Upgrading from HCIF version 7.21 to 7.22

I have also checked the scripts under Schema > Upgrade > PegaDATA and PegaRULES in HCIF 7.22 software distribution. There are no scripts for upgrading from 7.12 to 7.22. 

So, to be safe, I would recommend to upgrade your 7.12 to 7.14 first and then upgrade again to 7.22.
