Unable to use Pega GenAI Coach
After Pega's latest update, I am not able to add a GenAI Coach to my UI. I am using version Pega Infinity '24.2. Initially when I had added the Coach widget, it had worked fine. There seems to have been an update in the Coach widget because I get a warning message that the coach widget is deprecated. When I use the new Coach widget, I am getting an error message "Error while deploying the assistant". Is there any setting which I am missing?

@AishwaryaR9642The issue was resolved by Pega when a ticket was raised. It was an installation issue.
"The issue is caused by missing collection in vector store service. We are waiting for GenAI Team to fix it. As workaround it was added manually."
FYI, Even when a data source was added, I still got the error.

@RameshSangili The rest of the GenAI features are working. Moreover, GenAI Coach which is deprecated now, is also working. GenAI is enabled in the cloud.

@RameshSangili I'm also facing the same issue, after properly configured the Coach Rule in a case context, getting an error message "Error while deploying the assistant" at runtime. My cloud instance (24.2) is already enabled with Pega GenAI and except this GenAI coach, all other GenAI features are working properly. What I can see in the tracer, there is an activity named "pzDeployAssistant" which is called from an automation rule of Pega DX API "assistants/{assistantID}/conversations" to create a conversation object and in this activity on step 9 while calling the status API, it is failing and getting the below response, due to this the deployment error is coming. Response :

} I have tried it in my Community Trial edition as well and getting the same error. As all these are Pega OOTB final rules, so is there any setting or configuration I'm missing which is required to use GenAI Coach at runtime? Please suggest me if anything I'm missing or anybody else facing the same issue.

I believe this is due to a design change in configurations between 24.1 and 24.2.
@MarijeSchillern - Can you please check with the Product team to find the relevant documents to add Gen AI coach in the 24.2 version?

@MarijeSchillern As @RameshSangili mentioned that, this issue is might be happening due to the configuration change from 24.1 to 24.2, please check with the product team and let me know if any relevant documents are there for using Coach in runtime in 24.2 version, it will be very helpful for me to use it. As of now in all the available documents what I found regarding Gen AI Coach implementation, there is nothing mentioned about any specific configuration or setting which we need to add, everywhere it is mentioned that for cases and data objects in UX where and how we can add our specific coach rule.

@AishwaryaR9642 @ArijitG96 Please can you clarify which documentation you are looking at?
Coach, Analyze, Automate GenAI products and capabilities are available with Pega Infinity 24.1 and above and can be purchased as the Pega GenAI Bundle - I'm assuming this has been done?
Did you go through the 24.2 documentation?

If your issue is a documentation gap, then you can use the 'Feedback' button directly on the article.
If the problem is with the functionality then feel free to log a support ticket in order to have our product SME's check what features are missing from the documentation.

@MarijeSchillernAdding the data sources to the Gen AI Coach rule is covered extensively in
Adding a data source to a Pega GenAI Coach. However, it was not mentioned that at least one data source needs to be added to the Gen AI Coach rule in order for it to work properly.

@ArijitG96 your issue seems to be slightly different as you do not appear to be getting the"Error while deploying the assistant" screen error or warnings about the coach widget being deprecated.

@AishwaryaR9642 , Any Idea on how did they resolve the issue? I have raised ticket 3 days ago and they resolved it as Invalid ticket. However I have reopened it after looking at your comments. But I don't see any resolution yet.
Can you please let me know any suggestions to try to resolve the issue on our own?
I am facing exactly same issue that you mentioned here. Tried in Pega Cloud instance and Community edition as well.

@GR6778000 when you raise an incident via the MSP could you please provide the INC id so that we can follow up on this?
I have done a search and found INC-C2385 logged 2 days ago. Our GCS team are arranging a meeting to discuss further.
@AishwaryaR9642 thanks for having provided the solution for your issue. When you mention support tickets could you also please reference the ticket ID so that we can attach the GenAI analysis and/or related BUG incidents? I am unable to find any Global Support Team support tickets for you in our system.
Are you liaising with an affiliated company? Was your ticket INC-B50501?
If I see any change in status and/or resolution I will try to update the details in this forum post.
