You’re seeing that message because you’re in App Studio’s basic authoring and the rule you’re trying to open (decision table/when/data transform/flow, etc.) needs Extended authoring. Open App Studio, click your avatar or the gear icon, go to Settings → Authoring, and turn on Extended authoring mode, then try opening the business logic again. If you don’t see the toggle, switch to Dev Studio and open the rule from the App/Records explorer, or ask an admin to enable Extended authoring for your access group. Make sure the rule lives in an unlocked ruleset version you can edit; if it’s in a locked or built-on application layer, do a Save As into your app’s unlocked ruleset. If your app uses Constellation, note that some legacy rule types are only editable in Dev Studio. Also check your privileges; if you only have basic Author access, you may need the advanced author role for full configuration. After changes, log out/in or clear your browser cache if the toggle doesn’t appear. Once Extended mode is on (or in Dev Studio), navigate from the case type to the specific rule and you’ll have full configuration access.
