Training data for building a model

Hi,

I have been working on text analytics , in that i had created a categorization model of type topic.So here i'm uploading file for training with 1000 records.

1.Is there any limit for file size or records to be uploaded for training?

2.For large data it is taking more time to build and test the data. can we trace the time period here that has taken to build and test?

3.If it takes more time to build, is there any parallel process ?(May be like multi-threading)

In that link there is no information given regarding my questions like file records or size limit , and how time taken for each algorithm is traced.
