Is there a way to perform column filtering in Report Definitions and Export the filtered data into Excel ? I came to know that Export To Excel doesn't retain Temporary filters. But our end users use this very often
We are using Report Definitions through Shortcuts and Categories to implement Reports in our application. Some of them draw as much as 50K + records in one month. Though we have implemented some basic filtering with a few columns in the Edit Filters section, but most of our users use column filtering with the other available columns and wants to export the filtered data which is not working. I came to know that as a design policy, we decided we will not retain temporary filters in Export To Excel.
Is there a way out to tackle this. Please suggest
