Is there a way to hide the create stage in pega 8.5
I see that create stage is mandatory in Pega 8.5 version case management and also I didn't find pyStartCase flow for the case. it seems the new harness rule is replaced with create stage but the case ID is creating before I complete create stage(unlike the new harness rule).
so is there a way to hide this create stage and display a new harness rule before the case id get's created?

@Chandrababu The Create stage is a mandatory element for collecting information before a user submits a case, so you cannot remove the Create stage from a case life cycle.

@SatyajeethThakur but the case is creating(case id is generating) before we complete the create stage. If i want to have a search screen as my first screen and if found the data then only I want to create a case, how can we achieve that now? Because we don't have New harness now.
Please refer to the below screenshot, where case id F-25007 is created at create stage itself and no new harness screen is generating now.
Also, I didn't find pyStartCase flow in the case, which should be the default start flow for a case.

@Chandrababu Hello, the pyStartCase is no longer present in case types with the Create stage:
Does the Create stage include the starting process?
Case types that include the Create stage are independent of the pyStartCase or any other starting process during case creation. As a result, your application is more granular and easier to maintain because you do not provide the starting process when you configure various functionalities, such as email instantiation of cases. All the configuration that in the previous versions of Pega Platform corresponded to the pyStartCase process, you now configure on the Create stage.
Only case types that you migrate from Pega Platform version 8.4 or earlier and that do not include the Create stage rely on the starting process.
How can I pass parameters to a new case upon case creation if my case types are independent from the pyStartCase starting process?
You can still pass parameters when users create new case types by configuring the Create work action. For more information, see Available UI actions.
The FAQ article also includes information on the harness that the application displays during the Create stage.

Can we avoid the model window for the starting assignment or screen as in 8.5 I don't see that option. please suggest.

@Narender Lakshetty You can update the harness of the start flow which is there in the start shape. update it to Perform, then the model won't be shown
