Is there any way we can fetch data only for the selected columns & not all the columns available in Report definition?
Hi,
We have a requirement to show only selected columns in the report, we were able to achive using the VirtualRDGrid. But the report definition is fetching all the columns data in the background which is causing Performance issues. Is there any way we can fetch data only for the selected columns & not all the columns available in Report definition.

For hiding the column to show in display, you can disable "Hide Column" option adjecent to the column under gear icon. But if you don't want column to come in RD at all, i think you will have remove it.

Would it be possible to clearly state the performance issues being faced? Also, did you get a chance to look at PAL data to see where the time is being spent the most.

We have more than hundred columns in the report, the report generated has all the columns at background when the users selects the column he wants to see in the report only that gets displayed. Instead of fetching all columns, if we can fetch only the selected columns data, it would be good. when ever user selects additional columns we can refresh the data to get all those selected values.
