Is there any possibility to extract attachment from BLOB into directory in server?
Hi All,
Our requirement is to extract attachments like (PDF, word, excel, text) attached to case and export into excel. In case if this is not feasible then at least we need to be able to extract attachment and output in a directory in server. Can anyone please help with our requirement?

Hi All,
I found the working solution. I tried the same Java code provided in link shared in previous post and only replaced 'pyAttachName' into 'pxAttachName' as applicable for Pega 7.1.6. I believe pyAttachname is for Pega 5.5. It worked. Thanks everyone.

Hi All,

And we tried the last suggestion provided and received the below error:
2020-08-29 17:25:42,684 [fault (self-tuning)'] [ STANDARD] [ ERROR XXXXXXXX|XXXXXXXX vignesh - xxxxxx - Save attachment exception: java.io.FileNotFoundException: <FilePath> (Access is denied)
Is this related to directory permission for the service account / local system account using which we run Pega server. We are hosting Pega on Weblogic App server and on Windows Server 2008 R2 OS. Could anyone please help?
