Taking screenshot using GrabscreenshotPNG script without having scrip constructs option
Hello,
I am trying to develop a app which opens all files present in a folder one by one. The extention of files present in folder are different (For eg. .doc, .pdf, .xls all types of files are coexisting in same folder and i need to open them one by one and take a screen shot of every file; save the screenshot in a new excel workbook and close the file.
I have started with the screenshot portion. I thought of doing it using SNAGIT tool because i will need a vertically scrolling screenshot as data could be of one or more pages. I have no idea how to incorporated snagit in pega because by adding it as a window application is not working.
I have also seen a script named grabscreenshotPNG in this forum but as I dont have Script constructs option in this version of pega software. I have no idea where i need to put those lines of code so that they can work exactly they are supposed to be.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Snagit could be useful here. Except I don't know if they have public APIs which you could extend from. However, they do have a feature where as you initiate screenshots, it will collate them into a Word document for example. Then that word document could be uploaded to Pega after the fact. Of course that does not exactly match your scenarios of using Excel, etc. But it is certainly a step in the direction of your requirement.
