SQL DB Patch - Impact to Pega

Hi Team,
current pega environment (PRPC 7.2.2 and Pega CRM 7.22) running on SQL Server 2014 SP2.
DBA want to apply Jan 2018 Security Patch for the SQL Server 2014 SP2(KB4057117)
Will there be any impact to Pega environment if DBA applies the patch.

Generally speaking, installing DB security patches should not really impact Pega. I know that the Cardinality Estimator was introduced in SQL Server 2014, which caused some issues and was addressed via Hfix-34496 for 7.2.2, however you would have already been experiencing that issue already and the security patch wouldn't introduce it.
