Special character shows like special symbol in data type of pega.
I am trying to import CSV file in to a data table (Data Type). After importing csv, whatever symbols (appostopy('), degree(°)) are showen like a special symbol.
How can i get correct symbol?

How are you creating the CSV file? Is it with Excel? Try saving as "CSV comma delimited" & don't use the "CSV MS-DOS" option.

I have different requirement where I need create an XLS or DOC file. The Filename contains Special character(German umluat: ÜÖÄ)
I am setting the file name in the Java step by using the below step. Let me know if you know any solution to solve this. I tried to encode it to UTF-8 before but still the same behaviour.
String xlFileName = tools.getParamValue("FSFileName");
PRFile xlFile = new PRFile(xlFileName);
