Snapshot of Strategies occupying lot of server space

Is it common for the snapshots of Strategies to be saved in the server until you delete them manually . Snapshot being a temporary state of a rule form , will it occupy so much memory causing server slowness? If this is an issue , please help me with the response.

Generally speaking, you need not worry about snapshots of rules.  This will not create any performance impact.  If you are seeing some anomaly where you suspect that snapshots are being created and causing performance impact, you should contact Customer support.
