Show Screens in Read-only and Editable based on access role
Hi All,
We have a requirement.
In screen flow we have 6 screens.
1. User with Access Role "ABC" will be shown all the screens in Read only including buttons and radio buttons should not be accessible.
2. User with Access Role "XYZ" will be shown all the screens in Editable including buttons and radio buttons.
3. User with Both Access Roles say "ABC" && "XYZ" its should show all screens editable.
Any options to do it in generic way.

Thank you for posting your query here.
As of now there is no OOTB functionality to achieve your requirement.
We can write a logic to fulfill the requirement.
1. Write an activity to check AccessRoles which is called before the Screen flow start. In the first Step loop For each element in value list "AccessGroup.pyUserRoles". Add when condition for the step as per requirement. Set a property if required access is available for the operator based on when evaluation.(If ABC role is only available, set property value as Read-Only)
2.Circumstance the section when value of that property is "Read-only" to show the values read-only

Hi,
As your requirement is for screenflow,You can save as the TabbedScreenflow7 to the application ruleset and perform the below changes:
For the section include pyTabbedScreenFlow7Main in TabbedScreenflow7 harness,you can select the checkbox Associated privileges and define an update privilege.
Associate the privilege defined for update only with the access role which can have edit access

I have included a section inside section.
In section i gave privilege for View. Still i am seeing the section editable.
How to configure privilege and access when rule? Please help in this regard.

Hi ,
Please perform the below steps:
1.Save as the TabbedScreenFlow7 harness into your application ruleset.
2.Open the properties of section include "pyTabbedScreenFlow7Main".
3.Select the checkbox "Associated privileges" and define a privilege for Update privilege.
4.Now run the screenflow and you should not see your sections in the editable format.
5.Add the defined privilege in the access role and rerun the flow.Now the sections should be displayed in the editable.
