Selenium integration with pega deployment manager 5.4
Hi,
We are using Selenium server to run automation test suits. Now we want to integrate selenium with Pega deployment manager 5.4. I see OOTB task (Run Pega scenario tests (Standalone selenium)) which can only run pega senario tests. How can we run defined automation suits in selenium from deployment manager?
Thank you

Would really like a response to this. We are in a similar situation.

@AmanB322 I am not sure , if this is correct answer. But can you create a jenkins job or task and invoke selenium suite from there ? I think we can run a jenkins task from Deployment manager.
This is just to check while we wait for an authentic answer.

@Raju_Botu That is definitely "a" way. In fact, that is what I had suggested my team. But it feels like a hack. We will also have to set up the jenkins job in a way that it fails when selenium test doesnt return a 100 percent; and that would then be conveyed to PDM. So, it's an additional step. Hoping that can be avoided.

@RajaKullaiahD3386 Nothing, no updates on this from Pega

OOTB Pega deployment manager supports Pega Units and Scenario tests. Selenium automation tests can executed only through Jenkins integration.
Note that Integration of Pega Deployment Manager with Selenium is in Roadmap.

@Pallavi Gurram Pallavi, So when can we expect this integration to release into the market for usage? Any future releases planned or scheduled for this issue.

@RajaKullaiahD3386 As mentioned it is present in Roadmap, this feature is yet to be prioritized. Currently it is not planned in any specific future release. I will keep this thread update to date, if this feature is tagged to any specific release of DM.
