SegmentList property page list class change in PegaMKT-Engine:08-01-01
Hi,
We are currently using the property in SegmentList in our existing data flow rules & based on its result class ( PegaMKT-Data-MasterSegment ) , the dataflow configuration has been done . This is the case in 7.3.1
When we are doing feasibility study to upgrade to Pega Marketing 8 , one of the changes we observed is SegmentList page list class has been changed to PegaCDH-Data-MasterSegment which leads to failure of our Data Flow .
Is this class change intentional in the product ? Any suggestions / resolution to overcome the problem ?

Yes it was an intentional which was done as part of the architectural change to support multi-level contexts introduced in 7.4 release. Can you please elaborate on how you are using this property and the class in your logic and what was the business requirement/usecase driving it?

Thank for sharing the screenshot but it does not help me understand why you are directly accessing this property. Can you explain your business usecase/requirement a bit more so that I an understand better? Also what is the name if the data flow where it is failing?

We saved as SingleCustomerData OOTB data flow into our customer class & applied extra filters for our application usage in 7.3.1 . Even the OOTB data flow ( Located in PegaMKT-Engine:08-01-01 ) is also throwing the same error when tried to do private edit using marketingadministrator user ID . can we consider it as product bug & raise SR ?
