It works if you include without a dynamic section wrapping it! But this isn't an option for us.

Is PreRequisite property of type "Boolean" ?
If yes, then it may be the reason it shows up a checkbox.
Also, you should be able to drop a section within a dynamic layout and be able to pass the parameters in the required manner.

I checked locally and can confirm the behavior, if the property type is "Boolean" only a checkbox is shown.
Disregard the last line of my previous comment. I think the behavior is caused *ONLY* when dropping the section in a dynamic layout.
The only drawback I notice with this scenario is that you cannot pass a property reference to the parameter. I am not sure if this is by design when a section is dropped inside a dynamic layout.
Can u try setting the value in the parameter page to circumvent the issue ?
If not, open a SR to get this evaluated.
