Search Is Not Wokring on Pressing Enter

Hello All,

We have update our application from Pega 6.2 Sp2 tp Pega 7.2.2 and after that Search functionality from user portal on press enter is not working. We have configured Search functionality using FindWorkGadget control otherwise option where user can use Search By ID option in case indexing is not done yet. But in Pega 7.2.2 I can see by entering the Work object ID and clicking Search by ID option is working but on press of Enter search should open a pop-up showing all the related work object along with the enter work object. But Pressing enter is not giving any result nor it showing anything in tracer.

Please let me know if anyone faced the similar issue.

Thanks for posting your query in PSC :)

In OOTB Pega 7.2, verify the configuration for the Enter event is similar to the section pyFindWorkGadget. If configured correctly, compare the OOTB behavior for Manager portal with the custom portal.

Hello Rincy,

If we configure like above By ID option will not work and it means if indexing is not properly done, we will not be able to find the work object and we have many situation is our project where work index is not available. So please let me know how can we make both full text search and by ID working. I have checked the user as well as manager portal also there also enter event is not working when we make use of Advance option in FindWorkGadget control.

Hi  same here , same problems with this FindWorkGadget also try the local change: : https://community.pega.com/support/support-articles/find-work-gadget-does-not-work-chrome-and-safari-browsers

Still not working in Pega 7.2. IE its working but Chrome not .. 

Also Upgrade from .P6 to P 7.2

Any ideas ?
