Hi,
We are using PEGA7.1.6, we are using progressive pagination for a grid repeat, where the data of that pagelist records will be shown as a tile.
when we scrolling down slowing progressive pagination is working fine. But the user scrolled down fastly, then the scroll bar is hidding into the screen. Please find the screen shot.
Could you please provide any suggestion for this?

Hi Chandini,
For sanity test, could you check the behaviour pagination in UI Gallery(DesignerStudio -> User Interface -> UI Gallery)
Under "Tables & Grids" heading, navigate to "Grid" -> "Paging" -> "Progressive". Observe the behaviour with OOTB progressive pagination.
If it's working fine, you can see the configuration by clicking on link provided at top right corner "View design-time configuration".
Also, Could you explain me, What you mean by as a tile presentation?("where the data of that pagelist records will be shown as a tile.")
Please provide design level screen-print of "Presentation" tab of your grid repeat.

Hi Asif,
The statement "where the data of that pagelist records will be shown as a tile", means just a presentation of that pagelist record, for which I have added the screen shot in my earlier conversation.
Its just our terminology for that specific implementation (UI).
I have attached all the tab specifications. Please find the below.
Hi Chandini,
I found this related article on PDN.
This is for Pega 7.1.6: https://community.pega.com/support/support-articles/vertical-scroll-repeat-grid-layouts
Unchecking "Expanded on load" option might help your case!
Let us know!

Hi Lochan,
we are not having this ("Expanded on load") option, as per the criteria what we are using for Grid view.

Hi Chandini,
As Asif said can you check the behavior with OOTB, from UI Gallery. You can go to UI gallery and open the Repeat Grid Configuration and make the navigation as progressive and have the below configuration:
Is the issue replicable? If yes, then can you inspect the element where the scroll bar should come and use 'overflow-y:scroll !important' as CSS and check?

Hi Shrestha,
I have validated the behavior in UI Gallery .There the data provided in UI gallery is very less and each line holds single line data. But we have nearly 22000 characters data for each row.
In this case the row data is beyond the window size and the user tries to scroll down to the end, so that the user can view the next record. Then the scroll bar is hiding and also the progressive pagination behavior is not working as per OOTB.
The screen returns back to the same pagelist records/ count where we hold it scroll down in order to view for the next set of records.

Hi Chandini,
Thank you for the updates. Can you try the following changes and check if the issue is still replicable or not?
1. Open the Grid Repeat Layout's configuration and check what is the width of content used under Presentation tab. Is it is 'Fill(100%)' ?
2. Also can you change the Document Type and IE document mode as below for the harness?
Thank you.
