Scenario Planner Projected Value Capture
How is Projected Value Capture being calculated when there is no financial value attached to the action which is getting qualified?

@Viplav , Each action, on the action detail tab has a field that maintains this value. Its label is Business Value. If this field is not set, the value for calculation purposes is assumed to be 1.

@Saleem_A the above screenshot is from the excercise system. For our implementation we have used segment as a source for our audience simulation.
I do not see the tiles populating. Is it mandatory to use Data sets for Scenario Planner to work?

@Viplav You can use segments as the source for audience simulation, but you also need to make sure 1) the simulation is run with engagement policies and simulation, and 2) channel treatment processing is turned on

@Viplav Two 'issues' here: 1) the underlying models in the your system have not yet reached maturity, and Scenario Planner needs mature models to project 'Clicks/Accepts' and 'Value Capture.' Note 'Projected Reach' is displayed in Scenario Planner, so this means the simulation ran properly and Scenario Planner is picking up data from the simulation. If this is a demo environment, you can consider feeding click/accept responses back into CDH to mature the models, then rerun the simulation; 2) the center column is not populated because it relies on a data set called Scenario Planner Actuals. In a live system, the data migration process would extract this dataset from production (subset of VBD Actuals) and move it to the BOE as part of the scheduled data migration job

Thanks @wongr for such detailed response, We tried the 2nd approach recently with source as Data Set and it worked for us. In fact all tiles are now populating using Data Sets but Segments are still giving blank response.
My question is why is it interpreting Data Set simulations as matured and Segments as not. The model should work equally for both.
Note: The model has accept responses for it to mature. Attaching the working Scenario Planner screen shot for your reference using Data Sets as source:

@ViplavNot sure what the exact issue(s) were when you trying to simulate using a segment as input. However, keep in mind that in an out-of-the-box Business Operations Environment, there is NO data in the customer tables. Customer data is sampled from PROD, IH data pulled from PROD for the sampled customers only, and adaptive model data is pulled from PROD. All this data is then migrated to BOE, but the customer data specifically is currently not unpacked back in to the customer tables. Did you do some custom work in the BOE to be able to run segments? Even if you did, there is no guarantee the associated IH data is available in the BOE if it was not part of the migrated 'sample', and it's not clear if ADM data in the BOE had been migrated when you tried to run the simulation
