Same rule behaving different in different environments (ET/IT)

After the Import from ET to IT we can see unexpected behavior in some of the rules. Basically the section contains 2 Rich Text properties (A,B) and depending on 2 conditions either A or B should be populated.
This is working in ET, however it doesn’t work in IT even if section & when rule are exactly the same. The interesting thing is that if we do a SAVE AS of the section in another RS (for example, Prod RS) it works (I mean, also in IT)… Does anyone has a clue why it could happen? It seems the section is properly loaded because we are able to see the title, then I am assuming the when rule is corrupted or maybe a caching issue. (I don’t think when rule is wrong, otherwise it wouldn´t work also in Prod RS in IT or directly in ET)
Maybe if we just Re-Save the section rule it will work, but I guess pzInsKey will change isn’t it? They have cleared Temp Dir + Extract Marker. Is there any other cache they need to clear?
They have also restarted the server and still same issue occurs...
Any idea of route cause? What is the most appropriate way to resolve that?

Upon reviewing the corresponding SR, we see that it has been resolved.
Root Cause
There was a mismatch in the case used to reference a data page in a Property-Set activity step.
Resolution
Changing the activity to refer to the correct page resolved the issue.

Question :
Which version of PRPC you are on ?
How is your when condition configured ? Is it referreing property which belongs to some page ?
We have seen cases where sometime the data that you are referring is not loaded in the page hence the property is not populated.
I would start investigation by running tracer in both environment and see where exactly the failure is happening.
Also , comparing HFIX from both environments is a good option !

We are working in Pega 7.1.7 planning to update to Pega 7.1.9.
Condition is referreing property in a Data Page. Content from DP is properly loaded, however when tracing it, when rule evaluates wrongly.
HFIX inventory is the same in both environments.
Any other idea??

Sorry for late in reply. I feel this needs to be addressed via SR since it requires some more detailed investigation ( via log, tracer , debug patch etc. )
