Runtime version difference
Hi to all,
Can anyone knows the difference between the two pega runtime versions?
1. Pega robotics runtime 8.8.1064 - EN
2. Pega robotics runtime 8.0.1080.0 WFI - EN
It is also confusing on what the WFI means on the second runtime version.
Additionally, based on our plugin verion is 8.0.1059.0, what is the best runtime version do we need to use.
Its a bit difficult for us to determine on what runtime version should we used based on the plugin versions that we have.

WFI stands for Workforce Intelligence. Unless you are using that product, use the other Runtime. The implications would be that you'd be in an untested state. Pega Robotics does not test deployment packages from one version running in a later one, so it is not a given that it would work as intended. In reality, Runtime would likely load the package fine and exhibit no visible issues if the versions were close, however it is not supported, so any issues you'd have would require you to synchonize the versions.

It is recommended to use the same version of Runtime as the deployment package was built with. So, if you are deployment building packages in 8.0.1059 then you should also use the 8.0.01059 runtime.
To see the differences between builds, look at the Build Note page. Look for new functionality that has been released that will be helpful for your efforts and also updates for support on controls you encounter in the applications you are automating.

The product changes from build to build. Normally you would not expect major changes that would affect whether or not a package would run correctly, but it is not recommended.
An example of what could go wrong is this. In the xml files properties with default values are not normally written. They are only written when the value is not the default. If default values are changed between builds, this may affect the way your package runs.

Thanks for all the informations.
So which means in the current pega plugin that we have which is 8.0.1059.0, runtime for the users should be in the same version.
But in our case, there are only two runtime versions that we have (this part is not in our control).
8.0.1064.0 and 8.0.1080.0
Between the two, nearest runtime version is the 8.0.1064.0. Is it okay to use that version?
Is it considered as close enough version with our plugin which is 8.0.1059.0
